Are my parents being cheap?

We are flying to Atlanta, GA and we are going to be flying coach instead of First Class. It's a 2 hour flight. Why can't we fly First Class? Whenever Mom and Dad go by themselves they get First Class. Why do we all have to get coach? I'm sorry, but coach is so overrated.

In July we are going to have a family reunion cruise. I found out that Mom and Dad are getting the "better" room and I'm going to be sharing a cabin with 2 other family members. Are they being cheap? When I complained to them about it they said "It cost you nothing."
They did pay for my ticket and cruise costs but is it fair?

Answer :
KEY WORD: FREE.

You sound very ungrateful. You're not having to pay for anything and you're complaining about it? You're NOT paying for the plane tickets, the hotel room, the activities you and your family are going to do, the eating out at restaurants, nor the cruise. All of this (and more) is FREE to you. Of course, you can buy your own First Class ticket. Those tickets start at $1000.

If you don't like the accommodations, you can stay home. I'm sure someone else would love to take your place.

Troll.

Answer :
No they are stretching their dollars. Quit whining. If you don't like coach then pay for
your own tickets. If you don't like the room accommodations then pay for your own or don't go.

Answer :
No, you're just being an arrogant brat. I don't even get to go to nice places like that... let a lone first class if I do go on an airplane.
Plus, they feed you and put a roof over your head, right? So don't go around acting like they don't give a damn about you.

Answer :
Well they answered your question. They said 'It cost you nothing.'
I'm guessing that means 'You're not paying for it. It's my money that's paying for it. You should be grateful for....'

Answer :
That is fair. You are going on a cruise and flying to Atlanta. I would be happy with that since the economy is in shambles at the moment. Basically everyone fly's coach. It isn't bad at all. You can survive two hours.

Answer :
its totally fair.. until you can pay for yourself, you do what your parents say and that is sharing a room and flying coach...

its two hours, why do you need first class for, its not like its such a long trip... and they are problably getting coach becasue now that they have to pay for you they cant afford to fly first class...

they arent being cheap, your just being selfish!!!

Answer :
Yes its fair. You sound like a spoiled child. Do you even know how bad the economy has been??

They are flying coach because its much cheaper. I've flown in coach for 8 hours before and you think 2 hours is hard?

As for the cruise, be lucky your even going on a cruise and that you arent having to pay for it! Im 21 and Ive never been on before so be grateful!

And of course you are going to get a smaller room and sharing with with other people. You are just a kid.

Be grateful and grow up.

If your spouse allowed it and you could, which celebrity would you want to spend the night with?

Most couples that my wife and I are friends with have jokingly allowed their spouse to have sex with their celebrity crush. My wife USED to like Tom Cruise before he went nuts, had a thing for Mathew Mcconaughey for a while, and now for some reason she's on a kick about Keith Urban (personally I don't get it).

Now my personal favorites have traditionally included Elle McPhereson, Ashley Judd, Heather Locklier, and Daisy Fuentes. I've also been growing on Christina Applegate lately too. But after seeing JENNIFER ANISTON in a bikini on the front page of the Enquirer I might have to add her to the list! DAYAM! Is it me or she hotter now than she was 15 years ago?

So ANYWAY! Who is YOUR celebrity free ticket? Or are you going to lie and insist that the person your married to is the only one you'd ever want to spend the night with? LOL!

Answer :
I have no celebrity crushes....however if the opportunity came up for me to have a conversation with one, my list would be rather interesting.

Celebrity crushes are rather juvenile, IMO...never had 'em but then I never was a silly giggly girl.

Answer :
Well I could tell you Megan Fox or Jessica Beil, but I've always had a thing for Charisma Carpenter, Brooke Burke, and Alyssa Milano. If I had to pick just one...it would have to be Alyssa...we're the same age and I grew up having a crush on her...lol

Answer :
Guess I am too old to play this game. There are a few actors who made me weak in the knees, but I can't say that I ever wanted to have sex with them. Sure would have liked to have kissed them, though!

Answer :
Okay, I'll play along.
I find Ashton Kutcher and Ryan Renolds extremely attractive.
And my husband thinks that Megan Fox is hot.
Honestly, though, if it came right down to it, I would not be able to have sex without love.
My husband would really, really want to, but I don't think that he would unless I was completely okay with it. I don't think that I would be. I'm a pretty cool wife, and I look pretty good (according to him), but how in the world could I ever hope to compete with his fantasy woman? I'm not THAT secure.

HELP! I GOT A SPEEDING TICKET AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT!!!!!!!?

So, yesterday, February 10th, 2010 i got a speeding ticket on my way to school. I was clocked at 70 in a 55, but i had my cruise control on at 65. Once he clocked me the cop turned around and road my butt for at least 0.6 miles before turning on his lights to pull me over. Once he pulled me over he did the usual and got my licence and and registration and proof of insurance. When he came back and gave me the ticket he got in his car and I left. Once i arrived to campus i noticed that on the ticket it had on the bottom right side where the offense happened. Well where it says that it also says miles, where it says miles it said 8.... does that mean how many miles it took the officer to pull me over? because if so then that is wrong and i could get the ticket dismissed. If it's not then is there any way to dismiss this ticket. It is costing me $133.00 and i can't afford that, i also can't afford the insurance so I wont be able to drive.

Additional Details

I live in south carolina and i got a ticket for speeding for 15 over and im not going to lie i was speeding i was going 10 over. but i was going with the flow of traffic. Im 19 years old. would there be any chance in dropping the ticket, i still haven't gone to court for my first ticket i have gotten.

Answer :

Well, you might get the ticket reduced say to 5 or 10 mph over. But that's probably it. But reducing the cost might be more difficult. Cities and states are strapped for cash like everyone else these days, and desperately need the revenue. Chalk it up to learning those speed limits are laws, not suggestions.

Answer :

1. You ADMIT you were speeding by 10 mph. The MOST you can hope for is reducing the fine category from +15 to +10. I have no idea what the '8' refers to. There is no equivalent spot on any speeding ticket I have ever seen. I do agree with a prior answer it may state .8, as in 0.8. That would be consistent with YOUR version of what happened.

Answer :

I don't know but I got a ticket just today but didn't you ask him to see how he actually got you like with his radar and all. If he just estimated you can fight that but the one thing you want to hope for is for him to not show up at all so I would suggest putting off the court date as much as possible with as many excuses as you can make up.

Answer :

133.00 is cheap...are you adding in the court fee's? You can write a letter to the DA and admit your guilt and as for the ticket yo be reduced. (instead of hiring an attorney) this will lessen the points going on your license. You need to see if you can get it dropped to a 64 in a 55 or less.

Answer :

If this is your first offense and you are young (under 25), you should qualify for some sort of defensive driver course that will A: remove the ticket from your record, B: cost you much less than the ticket, and C: teach you not to speed in the first place.

Answer :

probably says .8 as i 0.8 on his copy of the ticket.....which sounds about right.......u can get ur speedo tested at a shop and take the paperwork saying its fixed in to judge but u will most likely spend more than the ticket to get it fixed....btw that is a fairly cheap ticket these days.....

u can request a jury trial.......here it pushes the ticket off for like 3 years....at which time if u plead guilty the points no longer can b accessed so no insurance hike.....

also can in some areas send in a money order for 1 dollar more than the ticket and never cash the return check which keeps ticket open thus never showing up on ur license......

don't know if those ideas will work since u didn't say where u lived.....good luck
