Feels like no one is caring,everybody is just cancelling on me?

So i have a dance show coming up in a week. All of my friends and family knew about this like months ago,everyone said they would come. In the end i find myself in a situation where i have tons of tickets to sell but no one to buy them. All of my friends cancelled because they wanted to throw a party instead,i wouldn't even call them friends anymore.lately i have felt kinda left out of our friend group.They just ditched me and said they didn't care about my dancing

Now my sister and her boyfriend cancelled,i really wanted her to see me dancing but no,they have a cruise to go on. My mom doesn't even seem to care,she's like yeah whatever i can come maybe..

It's like i have worked on this for months just to prove to everyone that even i can do something,because no one has ever really believed in me.. Now i have pretty much no one and it feels like no one is caring. Dacing is my life and no one wants to see me doing what i love to do.Sure i understand people might have better things to do but i've even told everyone it would mean the world to me if the people closest to me could come and watch.I'm really upset right now and i don't wanna force people to come.I want everyone to be happy,i just wish they would want that as well

A pretty hard lesson to learn... you have nothing to prove to your family or friends. They will believe what they believe about you regardless of what you do to try to change their views. The thing important is proving to yourself you are worth it and you can do it. Invite neighbors, coworkers, classmates, or whomever to buy those extra tickets. Then put on one hell of a show... for you and only you. True happiness is finding your dream, your niche in life and embracing it no matter the opposition. The more opposition the more accomplishment you'll feel when you succeed.

i think you have some pretty crappy friends and that if they were really your friends they would cancel their little plans and go because they could throw a party and do whatever they were going to do anytime but your performance is that one day and they are all being real selfish. forget those "friends" of yours and just ignore them and they will come running back. and for your family that is pretty messed up they should be supporting you and they should be excited about seeing you dance! it shoudl be time for them to put in some effort rather than just you all the time because it should go both ways . i know how it feels to feel like you have no one but just keep your head up and all that matters is that you believe in yourself dont let them get you down!

i am 18 years old... i no exactly what youre going through... in order to answer your ? i have to tell u a little about myself... my parents were divorced wen i was three yrs old... then they both got remarried... now i have four parents and 6 siblings... things that are important to me got left in the dust for numerous reasons... i would always try to get my parents to appreciate me and tell me they were proud or even come to my skol for choir, softball, talent show, anything! but they would always come up with some excuse to miss it... it took 17 years for my dad to tell me he was proud of me... that was at my high skol graduation... and good friends are hard to find... i have one person i can tell everything to and thats it... n lately things havent gone good... now to answer ur question... just because theyre not there or they "dont' care" just means that they have something they find more important to do... its sounding like im telling u to hate them and forget them... but if u want this to work out to ur benefit treat them well and act like nothing happened... thatll make them feel like a**holes and then theyll no they hurt u when they think about it... and if they dont notice theyr not worth having close to you... i stop talking to my dad for 3 months because he was an a**hole before i realized that he does love me... he just shows it in the oddest way possible... people care about u even if you dont think so at least one person does... and hey guess what... i care about u otherwise i woulda skipped over ur ?... i no u dont no me but no this... i care... take it in stride and try to think of the positive... ur gonna kick a** at ur dance recital so go out there with a smile on and no ur worth it even f ur family and friends dont think so because as long as ur happy with wat ur doing... who can tell u to feel otherwise?

the world can be such a cold place sometimes. This happens to ALL of us..times when friends and family let us down. Two things...do not give up on the friends...have forgiveness for their apparent selfishness. Next show, let them know about it ahead of time..even send announcements, and let them know how much it would mean to you to have them come. Second, go to your show and enjoy yourself...you're doing this for you, right? Then be sure and let them know what they missed!!! Living well is said to be the best revenge. If these same folks do it again, then it is time for payback. When they have something to celebrate, you bow out gracefully. I call it growing a backbone...that no one can take advantage of me unless I let them. Remember, reject the behavior, not the person. I hope you have a great show. Dancing and music are food for the soul.

Should I take Spirit Airlines from Detroit to Fort Lauderdale?

The flight prices for Spirit Airlines are awesome... and they have the arrival/departure times that work perfectly with my schedule, but the whole non-refundable ticket thing freaks me out. Is it worth the risk? Will I be left stranded somewhere? Also, I'm going on a cruise (i'm flying in a day before) but i really cannot afford to be delayed a day, etc. as I don't want to miss my cruise! Has anyone ever flown Spirit before? If it was a bad experience, what other airlines may be more reliable, but still have a good deal?

I got a ticket in Fresno county for speeding over 70mph. is it possible to transfer the hearing to riverside?

It was10pm when I was driving cruise control at 70 mph on the fast lane of I-5 south Fresno county. My wife and 2 sons are with me during the trip from Reno. Suddenly, a dodge ram truck was tailgaiting and flashing headlights on me. I moved to the right lane to yield but then said truck moved on the same lane as if the truck driver was already intimidating me. I slightly pressed on my brakes to inform the truck driver to drive at a safe following distance. Unfortunately, the truck driver was picking on me. I felt that my family and I were in danger.

I had to step on the gas pedal and accelerate at 90mph in order to go to the nearest exit. When I left behind the truck, out of nowhere, a white CHP car was already following me, flashed his lights, and sirens. As I pulled over, I told the officer that I was avoiding the intimidating truck driver that was tailgaiting on me. Officer still gave me a ticket. I began to think that I was forced by the truck driver to overspeed in order for the CHP officer to catch me. The truck driver and CHP officer might possibly know each other.

what are my other options? my last traffic school was 6 months ago because of speeding at 73 mph on a carpool lane of 57 freeway. do i just attend the court hearing in Fresno at 8 am and plead not guilty, mail a request a trial by declaration? any suggestions?
