Answer :
Well, you might get the ticket reduced say to 5 or 10 mph over. But that's probably it. But reducing the cost might be more difficult. Cities and states are strapped for cash like everyone else these days, and desperately need the revenue. Chalk it up to learning those speed limits are laws, not suggestions.
Answer :
1. You ADMIT you were speeding by 10 mph. The MOST you can hope for is reducing the fine category from +15 to +10. I have no idea what the '8' refers to. There is no equivalent spot on any speeding ticket I have ever seen. I do agree with a prior answer it may state .8, as in 0.8. That would be consistent with YOUR version of what happened.
Answer :
I don't know but I got a ticket just today but didn't you ask him to see how he actually got you like with his radar and all. If he just estimated you can fight that but the one thing you want to hope for is for him to not show up at all so I would suggest putting off the court date as much as possible with as many excuses as you can make up.
Answer :
133.00 is cheap...are you adding in the court fee's? You can write a letter to the DA and admit your guilt and as for the ticket yo be reduced. (instead of hiring an attorney) this will lessen the points going on your license. You need to see if you can get it dropped to a 64 in a 55 or less.
Answer :
If this is your first offense and you are young (under 25), you should qualify for some sort of defensive driver course that will A: remove the ticket from your record, B: cost you much less than the ticket, and C: teach you not to speed in the first place.
Answer :
probably says .8 as i 0.8 on his copy of the ticket.....which sounds about right.......u can get ur speedo tested at a shop and take the paperwork saying its fixed in to judge but u will most likely spend more than the ticket to get it fixed....btw that is a fairly cheap ticket these days.....
u can request a jury trial.......here it pushes the ticket off for like 3 years....at which time if u plead guilty the points no longer can b accessed so no insurance hike.....
also can in some areas send in a money order for 1 dollar more than the ticket and never cash the return check which keeps ticket open thus never showing up on ur license......
don't know if those ideas will work since u didn't say where u lived.....good luck
